Open call for 2D artists dealing with the 21st century issue of Climate Change.

This is an intimate exhibition for eight, two dimensional contemporary artists to exhibit artworks engaging with Climate Change, in the personal gallery of Georgina Talfana - co-curator and co-founder of Refresh Art Award. The exhibition is open to UK and international 2 dimensional artists and mediums include drawing, painting, illustration, metal, ceramics, glass, digital art and printmaking. All artworks must be able to hang with D-rings on the wall. There are no plinths available. 

A private view will be held on Thursday 5th September 2019 and it is essential that artists should be able to attend this. Following this the gallery will be open from 12pm - 4pm for a series of weekends throughout September. Selected artists will be eligible to sell their work both in the gallery and online with a 30% commission for 3 months. Artists will also benefit from some mentoring prior to the next Refresh Art Award, however selection is not guaranteed.

We do not accept photography, hyper-real portraiture, still life (fruit bowls & fish), pet portraits, angel & skull art or life drawing

Who pays for packaging, shipping and customs charges?
The artist is responsible for these charges however we are happy to repack artworks ready for return courier collection.
Size there a size limit for artworks?
The maximum width of artworks is 65cm framed
Do artworks have to be framed?
Works on canvas or board do not have to be framed but should have D-rings attached. Works on paper should be presented in professionally created frames with D-ring fixings. Cheap frames from IKEA etc will not be accepted.
