We are seeking work that relates to the title "Janus Revisited".

In ancient Roman religion and myth, Janus (/ˈdʒeɪnəs/ JAY-nəs; Latin: Ianus [ˈi̯aːnʊs]) is the god of beginnings, gates, transitions, time, duality, doorways, passages, frames, and endings. He is usually depicted as having two faces. Janus presided over the beginning and ending of conflict.

The image of Janus as a god that can see the future and the past is a powerful one and an apt one for our times. We also wish to exhibit works that reflect on transitions, of moving from one state to the next.

We are looking for works across a range of mediums. Innovative and unusual responses are encouraged.  All works must be for sale.

Selected work will need to be delivered to Cupola no later than Friday 11 March, although we can certainly accept work earlier. Feel free to submit single items, groups or collections of work.

All works should be for sale and the gallery takes commission on works sold. There is no fee for submitting works for consideration.

To work out the overall price of your work, please use the following formula: Your wholesale price x 2.2 = retail including the VAT we have to charge. ie. £100 x 2.2 = £220.  £100 to artist, £100 to gallery £20 to HMRC.
