PMS: Party Mom Society are a Leeds based performative arts collective celebrating trashy moms, dancing queens and queers everywhere. We are looking for 4 performers to perform at our next event, PMS presents: The Summer Hoe-down Extravaganza. (14/06/19) This is the Ultimate Summer Cowgxrl Party of your dreams! Expect Trash Queen's, Drag, Catwalk’s, Line Dancing and 00s Cowboy Anthems. If that ain't enough we’ve got your fave duo of double D’s: Double Denim and Dolly Parton x

YEE-HAAAAA!!! PMS are back and we’re bringing country western realness to sunny LS6!

Come along dressed as your alter ego (especially if that’s a cowboy) or as your most comfortable self! Everything from trackie bottoms, to nipple tassles are welcome! Grab some tastey drinks at the saloon (Hyde Park Book Club) sit back (on your saddle) and enjoy the show...then get ready for a proper cowboy hoe dowwwn after performances!

We Moms look after our babies good n proper and our Safe Space Policy is at the heart of our night. We fully encourage you to tell your Mom on someone if you're feeling unsafe - your Moms will be easily identifiable and on hand all night to keep the party swinging, deal with any issues you might have, or if you just need a party buddy.

So dust off yer chaps and lets ride into the Wild Western horizon together!

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Anyone can apply! We encourage people from a range of backgrounds, all that we ask is that you bring sass, confidence and Wild West hoe-down realness to our stage. We particularly want to encourage applications from QTIPOC.
Does the location have disabled access?
Our venue is in a basement which is wheelchair accessible from behind, but the interior upstairs is limited in its accessibility. (there is no lift)

What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
We will be sharing performer profiles via our social media channels, and will also have a photographer on the night to get shots of all the performers, for them to keep.
How do you decide on proposals?
We get all the moms together, pour out the pinot, and see who we think will be the best fit for the event, and who has understood and reflected the theme in their application.

We want to make sure everyone is represented so we make sure to get a range of performers, so don't be put off if you've not performed before or think it's not for you - everyone can be a party mom!
