Pertoovid is an open Instagram account with aims for providing artists working in performance an easily accessible audience, and to also create an archive of performance based artists.

Pertoovid is looking for artists to make a series of performances over a various amount of times with the main platform being instagram. This itself provides the main limitation to the artist. The videos must be under 59 seconds but the artists are welcomed to post as many or as little to realise their project.

Artists are encouraged to use this opportunity to try something new, put out a performance project that may otherwise not have been, push the limits of instagram or even just resurrect an old project for this new platform.

The length of the residencies can vary from 1 day to - whatever. Artists will usually be in charge of the instagram account but Pertoovid can also upload for artists if that is an issue.
