If you have photos of yourself when you were younger, trying out new styles, on the way to becoming the (no doubt amazingly turned out) adult you are today, then you could have them published in a new ebook this summer.

Growing up can be a time when we experiment with identity and fashion.

Perhaps you had an alarming homemade haircut, were a cyber goth or punk, dressed to impress in glamorous designer labels, only wore branded sports wear, or raided the charity shop for vintage styles? A limited budget may have driven you to recreate your favourite looks on a shoestring, or maybe you saved up and splashed your cash on the best.

If you have photos of yourself when you were younger, trying out new styles, on the way to becoming the (no doubt amazingly turned out) adult you are today, then you could have them published in a new ebook this summer.

Titled Whatever I feel Like I Want to do, Gosh! the book will be published online as a freely available ebook, with an option for print-on-demand copies to be made available.

This is a research project from postgraduate student Helen Hesketh (also known as artist Helen Dryden). A curator and artist, Helen is currently studying MA Curation Practices at Leeds Arts University.

If you have some amazing photos of yourself (the more outrageous the better) please submit them to this project.
