Photography has had and is having a significant impact on the world we live in. Eco-conscious photographic artist Josie Purcell created the Photopocene Podcast in 2021 to chat with other photographers passionate about using their creative talents to raise awareness of environmental matters. You are invited to take part in 2022.

Photopocene has been borne from my love of nature and respect for the natural resources we depend on. Much of my photographic work is rooted in raising the profile of environmental issues such as the global sand crisis and addressing photography's environmental impact.

But I also love to learn about why other photo artists use the medium for environmental good.  20 talented and diverse artists shared their passion for the natural world and photography with me in 2021.

You can listen to their stories at anchor.fm/photopocene

Two more photographers have shared their stories in 2022, with more taking part soon. I'm now planning for the remainder of 2022.

Please get in touch if your photographic work responds to environmental matters in some way and you would like to share it in an audio way.

Complete the forms with a link to some examples.

I will be in touch as soon as I can to let you know if a recording date and time can be arranged.

Thank you,

Josie
