This is an open call for submissions to participate in a curated exhibition on the theme of ageing and memories. The exhibition aims to explore, through a variety of media, topics such as - personal reflections on growing older; the impact of age related diseases on memory; how older people are viewed in a world that is constantly changing; and other ideas that are drawn from the knowledge that comes through getting older or seeing family and friends experience old age. 

 
When: 11th to 15th July 2018

 
Who: selected artists from Berkshire and the south of England

 
Where: The exhibition will be held in The Brock Keep Gallery, OpenHand OpenSpace, Reading, Berkshire RG30 1HL; a Grade II listed building built in 1877, a space that has seen many changes in it's long life.

 
What: all media will be considered, the selection will be based on how the work responds to the theme along with how it will fit within the unique spaces of The Brock Keep Gallery. The aim is to show a range of responses with a variety of media including but not limited to installation, video, sound, 2D and 3D works. Installation/delivery date of work: 11 July 2018 by 12 noon

Private View: Wednesday 11 July 7 to 9 PM

Open to Public: Thursday 12 July to Saturday 14 July 1PM – 7PM; Sunday 15 July 1PM – 5PM

Take down: Sunday 15 July 5PM-7PM

there is no cost to enter but selected artists will be asked to contribute their time to help share in the tasks of installing the exhibition; invigilation over the 4 open days; helping with the private view, and the exhibition clear up. There will also be a £5 contribution requested towards the refreshments for the private view.
