Soundstripes a curated short film programme live scored by an ensemble of improvising musicians. Soundstripes 5 is being screening at the grand Grade II listed Abbeydale Picture House which was purpose built for live-scored silent cinema and theatre, opened in 1920. The auditorium has a large 4:3 screen and ~100 seat capacity observing social distancing. Soundstripes 5 is part of an all day live-scored screening event at the Abbeydale Picture House.

Criteria: Films should be under 20 minutes duration and without a soundtrack (films can be submitted with existing soundtrack to be muted). All types of film and animation will be considered from narrative to abstract, surreal to documentary.

Screening fee: Selected films are offered a £20 screening fee.
