Time is a precious commodity, and how we use what we have free of it shapes our lives. Whether working minimum wage at 40 hours a week, or teaching on salary, we're curious about how you warp, stretch, squeeze and inflate YOUR time. (PREVIOUSLY 7.70! If you have made a submission to 7.70, your submission will be considered on an equal basis)

Deadline Monday 29th September 2019 - Exhibition end of October!

We are looking for work that explores the rhythms and forms of our free time. Work of all mediums is accepted, but size and tech requirements will be considered. Open to all creatives, with a particular focus on those marginalised by age, race, class, sexuality, gender and ability!

We would like to see work that reflects the balance of time/money/art/work in artist's lives. This may be condensing as much entertainment in to an hour as possible, stretching out your experience of time, attempting to continue your creative ventures in the strangest hours of the day, or taking alternative routes to make money. Perhaps you eek out a few hours on the new standard length of films? Stretch yourself across hours of waking sleep? Meld your work and life with sneaky reading? Lose countless minutes to work-related stress?

Our needs and wants must be balanced in the hours that we might have free, and we're curious to see what this new generation of "starving" artists does while they eat, sleep, languish and scroll.

One work per submission - artists may submit multiple times but one work per artist will be selected at maxiumum.
