Unit 6 Studio and Gallery are looking to 'big up' photography and video/film art.

'The eye of the Lens' is a week long exhibititon where work will also be for sale, on a NO COMMISSION basis. (small fee for card transactions)

We are particularly looking for photographers, both digital and 35mm but also artists who use vintage style cameras such as super 8 and 16mm film. However any art form that uses photography, video or film as a basis in their work is welcome. 

The Gallery is a small not for profit Gallery based in Richmond North Yorkshire, in a busy location, on a trading estate. (for more information please visit the facebok page to familiarise yourself with the location and space available)

Unit 6 Studio and Gallery runs collaborative art exhibitions and silversmith workshops, as well as other art workshops.

Our aim is to help artists get their work seen and to provide networking opportunities to fellow artists.

Lou - the director and curator, is an award nominated international artist and has been a practicing artist herself for 15 years.

Her art links include East Street Arts, Skipkko, Artbound and Galleries across the UK and Europe including London, Italy and Greece.

The exhibition will run from Monday 8th July up to and including Saturday 13th, with an open evening scheduled for Sunday 7th between 6 and 8pm.

Open Daily from 11.30am until 3pm.

There will be a small fee of £20 per artist to cover any marketing, rent, refreshments and curators time. Collections of artwork are included in this fee however any extra pieces outside of a collection or intitial piece will be £5, to keep hanging space fair for all artists involved.
