Open call for submissions for an online, month long, residency - to be featured on the isthisit? website

isthisit? is an online gallery/collection of contemporary art curated and created by Bob Bicknell-Knight. It hosts weekly online exhibitions, occasionally putting on offline shows, featuring emerging artists from all over the world.

You're invited to submit a project to be realised over the course of a month-long residency on the website, where you'll be given your own web page to create a new piece of work which will be created/updated over the course of the month.

We're looking for proposals of all kinds, not necessarily focusing on internet inspired artwork, although artists who acknowledge the platform that they'll be working with (the internet) in their proposal will be looked at more favourably than someone who disregards that aspect of the residency.

During the month you'll be given control over isthisit?'s Instagram, to post images/videos of updates to the site alongside research/ideas that you're working with for the project.

This is an open call with a rolling deadline, with the chosen artists being picked from the entire submission list, so if you aren't chosen for one month, you may be chosen for the following months residency, etc.

Be aware each months artist will be chosen in the lead up to the 1st of each month, so submit early to be considered to be the following months resident.
