The Fish Factory Art Space CIC is offering 2 week residencies for Cornish artists/artists based in Cornwall at it's venue in Penryn, Cornwall. Opened in 2011 the Fish Factory has provided a forum for both Cornish emerging artists and international collaborators working in challenging and diverse mediums from interactive installations, to murals, to printmaking, music and film. We are looking for artists that want to engage with our lively and varied programme of contemporary, alternative and innovative visual arts, performance and events.

Are you an artist based in Cornwall or a Cornish artist that would welcome the chance to spend two weeks working in our open plan studio space?

We're offering special residencies for Cornish artists for just £150 for two weeks.

As part of your residency you will have your own desk space or larger self contained studio if suitable, free wifi, use of our b/w darkroom & photo studio and our acoustic recording studio (by arrangement and subject to availability). You'll also and get to enjoy our vegan cafe (20% discount). The Fish Factory houses the Cornwall Zine library which is open to all to browse and contribute to.

If you wish you may hold a small event/presentation/workshop during your stay with us - this is entirely up to you and we will help facilitate it for you.

We regret an exhibition in our gallery is not included in this residency, but we can offer a reduced price on hire for any resident.
