OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS AND PERFORMERS TO PARTICIPATE IN WORD IN TRANSIT 3.

Happy Birthday Sherlock Holmes.

On January 6th 2018, Word in Transit 3 will be hosting Campfire Tales for an afternoon of mysterious tales on the Bakerloo line.

Word in Transit is an underground performance and spoken word event that is held on the last carriage of a tube train. Campfire Tales is a rolling series of reading events where participants gather around a (fake) campfire to read to each other.

For Word in Transit 3 the campfire will occupy the last carriage of a Bakerloo line train, starting at Elephant and Castle and ending at Maida Vale (the first station to open with all-female staff).

Artists and performers are invited to submit 2-5 minute performances/songs/readings that fit under the theme ‘Mystery’.
