Deadline: 27/06/2021Venue: Online - Zoom | Shannon Skye Robinson
Seeking engaging, creative volunteer workshop leaders to propose and host an online workshop(s) that encompasses at least one of the following themes: art, creativity, culture, and sustainability. This is a volunteer opportunity but you will receive many benefits.
Shannon Skye Robinson is a Curator, Designer, and Illustrator in the midst of a new project. Shannon is building an online creative community where creatives can collaborate, share advice, resources, materials, and take part in online exhibitions, events, blogs, and workshops.
This is where you come in...
We are seeking engaging, creative individuals to propose and host an online workshop(s) that encompasses at least one of the following themes:
- art
- creativity
- culture
- sustainability
These workshops could be either a mini-series or an individual event - please state which you wish in your application.
Please be sure to consider that these workshops must be able to be done by individuals in their home as it is an online workshop. You must also be mindful to plan/propose a workshop where the materials required will either already be online, in their homes, or easily collected from outside or from local stores.
Your time matters to us so working times are flexible, as long as you will be available to have a video call with Shannon to run you through planning and deliver the workshop online around the end of June / start of July.
Besides this, the rest is down to you! As a workshop leader, you will also have the opportunity to join the online community if you wish to do so. Within the community, you will be invited to take part in future exhibitions, events and workshops as well as opportunities to write blogs, have interviews and share your work with the other members.
This is a great opportunity for individuals to gain experience in delivering workshops and taking part in participatory projects. You will receive feedback and support with the running of your workshop as well as having a testimonial written for you by Shannon which could be beneficial for future opportunities.
If you have any questions please feel free to message and we will get back in touch.
