Pineapple Black is a Contemporary Art Space situated within the Hill St Shopping centre, Middlesbrough.

We are an artist led, grass roots project, run by 2 local artists/curators. We are supported through Arts Council England, Creative Factory Middlesbrough and East Street Arts.

Our exhibition space is based in what used to be an old New Look store and consists of 3 main exhibition spaces, including a 24/7 window space.

Our goal is to exhibit the very best local, national and international artists while providing a space for workshops, independent pop-up projects and community activities.
