Stay Connected, Virtual Exhibition

As an artist, I direct my practice to engage with various forms intended to challenge specific colour palettes, simplified metaphoric objects, and conversational texts, often having the text closely associated with the title.

My practice functions as an abstracted storyboard, a window into site-specificity, highlighting specific palettes in relation to happenings. A distinctive feature of my practice is the developed style of impasto layering and encouragement of mistakes. Allowing mistakes in my practice results in creating abstracted sections of colour that may create contrast and breaks in the overall composition.

As a curator, I aim to bring all creatives together, to celebrate differences and the importance of sticking together through tough times.

When first creating the concept behind "Stay Connected" i wanted to explore alternative spaces that still allows a realistic oppotuity of showing work in a gallery setting; desiging and creating the virtual exhibition on 3D Studio Max allow me to do this to the best possible standard.

Stay connected is an opportunity for artists working in any 2D format to be a part of a unique virtual exhibition experience. Stay Connected is a group exhibition that aims to bring artists together during these stressful and uncertain times surrounding Covid-19.
