Interwoven Tales: Embracing Diversity in Diaspora

The Power of Embroidery is a project led by artist Or Williams in partnership with the Refugee Support Group (RSG) and Reading Museum Partnership in Reading UK. This project aims to feature stories of diaspora, migration, refuge, and asylum-seeking in the UK by creating a collective embroidered tapestry made by refugees and asylum seekers. The tapestry will be exhibited during Heritage Open Days at Reading Museum in September 2024.

The exhibition is going to be traveling a selection of public libraries in Nottingham, starting at Beeston library on the 28th of August.
