    Sam Haynes started her practice over twenty five years ago creating site specific public art installations, engaging local communities. Her creative process is still all about making connections, incorporating found objects and materials, using low tech methods of construction to create abstract, geometric assemblages that reference domestic and architectural space.

    I am a multi-disciplinary artist and educator, with a passion for photography and collage. My work captures often overlooked graphic fragments of the everyday. I draw on visual associations between disparate images to create carefully arranged compositions, exploring how context influences perception and how we piece together meaning, with each ‘part’ affecting our reading of the whole.

    I was born in Manchester to Bengali parents and is now based in Nottingham, UK. I actively work nationally and internationally taking my practice to different cities and spaces.     I am a poet, lyricist, creative and commercial writer based in the UK.     I am a Scottish photographer, filmmaker, artist and educator who lives in Lewes, East Sussex. Being brought up on a farm has contributed heavily towards my practice. I enjoyed a lot of freedom, but my existence was quite isolated which, in hindsight, instilled an ability to work alone and an urge for self-expression.

    I am a photographer and a qualified teacher. I tutor workshops in basic digital photography and cyanotype printing. My main practice is in documentary photography. I also have a passion for Camera Obscura and have designed and built my own portable CO. Inspired by largescale artworks I also have a passion for light paintings and abstractions made at night.

    I create jewellery in sterling silver, argentium silver and gold. My inspiration comes from organic shapes and from fractal patterns. I also create limited edition intaglio prints based on fractals.
