ART ROUNDHAY PARK - SPRING SHOW 2024! March April May 2.3.24 - 30.5.24. We’re now planning our next show and are seeking new artists to join our local and regional artists and printmakers. We're looking for a cross-section of work that is created and produced in Leeds, Yorkshire and the north of England; original art, prints and ceramics by artists, producers and printmakers.

- We showcase new works by artists David Lyon Art, Samantha Ward Art, Ryoko Minamitani and other local and regional artists and printmakers.
- We're looking for a cross-section of work that is created and produced in Leeds, Yorkshire and the north of England; original art, prints and ceramics by artists and printmakers.
- We're also looking for designer makers that are unique and that represent their art.
Art Roundhay Park is now permanently based at The Mansion Conservatory within the beautiful surroundings of Roundhay Park, Leeds.
Exhibition + Gallery Shop: 10 am - 4 pm daily, 7 days a week
It's free to submit and free to view the exhibition.
Theme
- Nature, landscape, woodland, wildlife, rivers, seas, flora, fauna, botanical;
- To take us through Spring and early Summer;
- Perhaps location-based with a local, Yorkshire or northern flavour;
- The coast, Roundhay Park, Harewood, the Yorkshire Dales, the North Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire, North East, the North in all its beauty;
- We want to explore different mediums, textures, and colour ways, but always with nature, landscape, flora fauna and wildlife in mind.

- Images for leaflet 16.2.24
- Artist delivery: 27.2.24
- Private View: TBC 1.3.24 possibly
- Exhibition Opening: 2.3.24
- Exhibition Closing: 30.5.24
One panel per artist
- Panel size: 1981 high x 838 wide x 35mm deep
- Two pieces on one panel (max)
- Dimensions not to exceed 70cm wide (finished size if framed)
Artists - Charges (+vat), sale or return basis
Option 1 - SHIFT - One day per month
- Artists have the option to do a full day’s shift per panel(s) per month.
- This gives the artist the opportunity to meet the customer.
- Commission: 35% (+vat)
Option 2 - NO SHIFT
- Commission: 45% (+vat)
Artist Shift
10 am - 4 pm one day a month
Commission charges to include:
- Promotional material and signage
- Staffing
- On-going PR and promotions to local media, press and social media
- Pdf files to artists to email to all guests/databases/customers, supplied on request

Delivery
All artists are responsible for shipping their work to and from the gallery, insuring their work whilst in transit.
Delivery requirements - please note below:
All items/works of art to be supplied framed, with D-rings, strung and ready to hang, labelled and packaged up securely and supplied with a consignment note.
Website Pricing
Please note! We appreciate you need to cover your costs and our charges but all pieces exhibited at Art Roundhay Park must retail at the same prices as available on your website and other retailers. If you want to be different, don’t sell the same work on your website or let us have an exclusive range of art or prints.
Insurance
We're not covered by contents insurance but are for public liability. Everything will be manned during the period, and we will do our utmost to take care of your art/product.
Producers: merchandising requirements
Please supply merchandising for your own products or props and guidelines as to how to display your product. Good display always sells.
Images
Please supply images of your work – as jpegs, a maximum file size of 4MB each. These images should be labelled with your name and title of the piece (abbreviated). This plays a strong part in SEO. Please bear in mind that the quality of these images will play a strong role in the marketing of your work and we may urgently request higher resolution for print and adverts.
Photography and permissions
All images supplied by participating artists will be used for marketing, on our website, for social media and marketing materials, unless otherwise advised.

It’s a lovely environment, the visitors are very chatty and engage in the art. It can be busy, it can be quiet, there is no telling; we invite artists to bring some art, drawing, painting, work, a book, something to do in case it’s quiet.
