    I am a visual artist based in Hastings and have exhibited, participated in and produced work for artists led projects, residencies and commissions in the UK and Europe.     Franky Blues is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Portugal but currently residing in North Yorkshire, England. Franky's works aim to explore the innermost self and its place in contemporary society.     Ex Army Father of two beautiful girls and I work as a HGV driver in the UK. I got into art literally by accident, after a work place accident and recovering at home ,I took up pyrography to take my mind off the recovery. Since then and work permitting I do my art when I can. Only having weekends off from the road I love to dive into a piece for hours on end, the smell and sound is fantastic.

    I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects. I am always learning, and thoroughly enjoying the process. I decided to take the plunge and set up a website for my art earlier in 2025.

    Sam Haynes started her practice over twenty five years ago creating site specific public art installations, engaging local communities. Her creative process is still all about making connections, incorporating found objects and materials, using low tech methods of construction to create abstract, geometric assemblages that reference architectural space.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism.
