I'm an emerging, international, contemporary artist based in North West England. I create dramatic and dynamic, wondrous compositions filled with energy, feeling and colour. Having been seen in Vogue, Tatler Vanity Fair, House and Garden, Collection and Mayfair Life, I'm as determined as ever to visualise my journey through life on the canvas for the purposes of offering hope, love and happiness.

My work as an artist is versatile, I make artist books, animations, draw, occasionally I paint (though I ’m not a painter). Experimental animation has become more prominent in the past few months. I also work with sound and interactive digital media, using specific computer software such as MaxMsp and Arduino to bring some magic into the world.

I am a graphic designer and a visual artist. I work mostly in oil on canvas but work sometimes with acrylic and water colour. Most of my recent paintings were influenced political and social upheaval of our world today and the works of the Renaissance artists. I do not like artworks to be just for decoration but to evoke feelings.

My art is about Places, they can be recognisable, detailed representational images but also, looser, abstract impressions, responses informed by connections present and in memory. Many of my paintings depict places of personal significance where I have spent time, often a lot of time. I particularly lo the landscape of Britain. The same small localities I continually returns to.

I make paintings of frolicking fish. Based on visions captured in my word sketches of rising sea levels affecting heritage and personal lives; nature impacting humanity. My vertical diptychs rise up the walls of stairwells, board and dining rooms. I collaborate; in the field of art / science. Swiss poet Robert Fred responds to my paintings in his verse. I redefine Landscape and Seascape.
