    I have been working as a sculptor and upcycle artist for nearly a decade, turning discarded plastic and found materials into meaningful sculptures that carry my personal reflection.     I love every gnome I make and put a lot of thought into their making. I make each one individually and work on it until it's finished before starting the next. I love doing the custom gnomes. They bring me such joy because I am trying to make an inspiration into an actualization. And it's so nice to collaborate with what other people are imagining and bringing it out in a hand felted gnome.

    Having studied Fine Art at Reading University my passion to share my love for sculpture and ceramics led me to later graduate from Edge Hill University as a teacher of art and design. After 13 years teaching sculpture, ceramics, and fine art to pre-degree students, sharing my time between artist and educator, I now work as a full-time ceramic artist in my garden studio in West Lancashire.
