    Sophia Rosenthal was shortlisted for the Contemporary British Painting Prize 2024, and won The Judith Tucker Memorial Prize selected by Lubaina Himid, Griselda Pollock and Harriet Tarlo. Graduating with a Distinction in MA Fine Art at City & Guilds of London Art School, Sophia subsequently won the Standpoint Artist Residency Prize 2024 which culminated in a solo show, 'Golden Hour' 2025.

    I am currently producing work that is a a combination of paintings and mixed media relief pieces that combine embroidery, paper clay, precious metal clay, paper, watercolour, ink and found objects.     Claire Troughton's Jewellery is inspired by the fragility of nature, the romanticism of the sea and the mythical stories she heard in childhood. She creates tiny treasures focusing on the little details and patterns of natural forms she notices while walking her beloved dog. Working in silver and gold she aims to produce pieces which are easy to wear as well as to admire and love.
