    Saba Siddiqui (b.1999) is a multimedia artist based in Yorkshire whose work centres the experiences of Global Majority people living in the U.K. to investigate notions of home and identity. Her degree show installation ‘Defiance My Way’ won the People’s Choice Award for the 2024 FUAM Graduate Art Prize and she is a recipient of the Berkofsky Award. Siddiqui is making work for Bradford 2025.

    Born 1957 and raised by artist parents, I've been immersed in creativity all my life. I completed an AA in art before emigrating to London, settling, working as a professional seamstress, and having 2 boys 18 years apart (1983, 2001). Acquired a BA in Interior Architecture in 2000. My art and craft has emerged and evolved in various forms and waves across the 40+ years I've lived here.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience.     I'm a ceramic sculptor who loves clay. The infinite possibilities of clay as a medium appeals to my need to constantly evolve my work as well as my love of learning and challenging myself. I love trying new techniques and pushing the boundaries with much of my work now single fired. Teaching adds another layer to that as I run a membership, classes and workshops from my Cambridgeshire studio.
