I am an interdisciplinary artist-designer-maker working across ceramics, sculpture, costume and performance. I am interested in the home-made, the hand-made and handicraft, and developing work with a DIY process-led approach.

I like making objects and performance which are wonky, futile and shonko-spectacular. I like abstract absurdities and grandiose gestures. Sometimes I fail spectacularly. As a performer and costume maker I have worked and performed internationally including Fierce Festival, Birmingham; Mons Capital of Culture, Belgium; Watch Out, Cambridge; Roxy Assembly, Edinburgh; Buzzcut, Glasgow. I started working in ceramics since 2015 as a practical response to my newly restricted practice due to becoming a mother. I have now developed a ceramics-led practice which encompasses making work for sale as well as sculptural work which is used as props in my performative work. In 2019 I was selected for the House for An Art Lover residency to work on a ceramics project and I also received a Glasgow Life Vacma bursary. In 2020 I received an A-N Bursary.
