I am a visual artist living in Nottingham. Originally trained in 3D design ceramics I now specialize in creating vibrant 2 dimensional images which are largely inspired by the urban environment and paraphernalia of city life.

My artistic practice is centred on creating vibrant, pattern filled images which are largely based on the urban environment and all the general paraphernalia of city life. I dream up fictitious landscapes which are an interpretation of the world around me. These can be quirky assemblages of unusual shapes and patterns based on the expressive qualities of architecture, geometric abstraction or graphic design. Up to now most of my work has largely been based around digital medium, with each piece starting out as a mono hand drawn image in pen on paper. Once scanned , I then add in colour and go to town adding a bounty of detail and pattern! In addition to creating digital prints, I also love to make original pieces, often using paint pens and/or gouache on paper board boxes.
