I've been working in education as a technician in various guises for over ten years. This has given me a wealth of knowledge and encounters that crosses specialist subject areas and allows me to bring in processes from different specialism into my art practice. I am currently undertaking my Masters in History of Design run jointly by the RCA and V&A.

My current research is based on the materiality and skill networks involved in armatures used in 19th century plaster sculpture.

One of my main focus is how to present this historical academic information to a variety of audiences using different delivery systems including exhibitions, animations and talks that utilise all of the practical creative skills i have gained being a technical instructor over the past 12 years.
