Alivia uses soft and colorful fabrics to encourage touch and intimacy, resulting in a reformation of social bonds between participants. Her work is a powerful reminder of the importance of human interaction and the value of taking time to connect with others in meaningful ways. Currently Alivia is exploriong the context in which her sculptures are exhibited has become an underlying personal experiment, exploring the levels and quality of interactions in public and gallery spaces.
