Philip O Reilly London, United Kingdom
  Back to profiles

Philip’s practice explores the relationship between visual ideas and the colourful materials used to express them, including; paintings in various media, gilding, textiles and feltmaking, glass processes, ceramics, digital imaging and more recently, 3-D Printing.

There are strong links with the built environment through imagery and visual language. His recent work has its design origins in Indian ritualistic Kolam drawing, traditionally drawn daily in the threshold of the home. He has also created ‘site-specific’ large scale public artworks in King’s Cross, London and Glasgow, Scotland.
