Douglas Black is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher and workshop leader, exhibiting nationally through paper cutting, sound, film and live art.

He works without ceasing, leading creative workshops and devising original projects. He is interested in how the authenticity of the crafts-person might be retained and developed in a digital landscape.

"My work has an underlying ethical, ecological and philosophical framework. I see that our natural world, the way we live, and the marks we make are interconnected."

Douglas has a passion for developing work with people who have disabilities and learning differences. His inspiring, thought provoking delivery engages communities and people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
