I’m originally from Aix en Provence , France . I moved to London in 1988 . I have a degree in design & architecture from the University of North London and more recently an art MA with TOMA . My art practice is primarily materials and sculptural based. Currently I am experimenting with weaving and basketry and how to include these skills into my practice .

As an artist I use organic and instinctive processes within my practice, often led by the materials used. I like to experiment and play with materials likes ropes and with discarded objects found in skips or the home such as industrial cleaning cloths to create sculpture and installation. I reinvent their function as sculptural objects of desire combined with a domestic resonance. I am interested in transforming the discarded into the desired with a history intact. Recently I have learn to use weaving techniques with old clothes , I’m still exploring the numerous ways I can use it creating tapestries.

I staged my second solo show at TOMA Project Space in Southend in 2018 . Recent projects have led me to be more socially engaged and reflect about my responsibilities as an artist within society. I am currently growing these socially engaged interests within the TOMA post-graduate programme.
