My work explores the different perceptions of location across geographical space, translating my own connections to people and space into color and line. Specifically I try to emphasize the notion of location through the interaction and intersection of line, color and geography,
The works are constructed primarily with line. Line acts as a device for the illusion of connection as well as enclosing or mapping the geography of communication. The compositions read as a sort of color blueprint that portrays human and environmental interactions. There emerges an impronta look to the surface where the horizontality of the compositions is achieved through different materials. As a visual artist I like to work in different media, my works are mostly multi-valent installations consisting of video, sound, paint, photo, objects and in few occasions text.
