Based in Huddersfield, UK, I am a freelance photographer and videographer. Currently a PhD Student at The University of Huddersfield investigating the experiences of Romanian nationals living in the UK post Brexit. My photography practice explores issues surrounding culture, identity and representation.

My work explores issues related to culture, identity and representation, using photography and video work as preferred mediums to construct visual stories and question the nature of everyday life and events. These are reoccurring themes in my personal practice, explored in an attempt to self discover or criticize socio-political aspects of stereotyping, subtyping, immigration, integration and othering. My artistic practice relies heavily on the concepts of alterity and hermeneutics, using visual signifiers such as masks, found objects or experimentation with texts and aphorisms. These themes have mostly been explored in my practice through portraiture, documentary photography and video work.
