Celestial Studios is a small non-profit arts organisation based in Trowbridge. We are opening affordable artist studios, alongside running creative workshops and offering creative and professional mentoring sessions for artists.

We are building a fun and welcoming environment to come and try new crafts or develop your skills, and have a space where you feel comfortable to have a cup of tea and a chat with fellow creatives - as well as making space for local artists to work, play, and connect. 

Studio rent will be decided through discussion with accepted studio holders depending on needs, sitting between £100 - £150 per month plus deposit of 1 month rent. This fee allows us to pay rent and bills for the building while still being available to early stage and low income creatives.

Spaces are shared, and we can accommodate up to 13 studios. We are open to:

- Solo studio holders

- Groups taking on a single studio

- Artists wishing to share a room

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We're looking for people who might need a helping hand making it in the arts. We're looking for people who want to be part of a community. We're looking for people who haven't made art in a while and want to start again. We're looking for people making sculptures in their bedroom. We're looking for people overwhelmed by domestic tasks in a home studio. We're looking for people who get lonely working from home. We're looking for people who don't know what they're doing. We're looking for people who know where they want to go but not how to get there. We're looking for people who don't think they're artists and want space to make stuff. We're looking for people who ask if anyone wants a cuppa when they put the kettle on.

Once you apply through the form, we will get in touch over email to invite you to interview or let you know your application has not be successful by the 11th of October. We are hoping to interview everyone who applies, but it will depend on the number of applications we get.
