I am inviting artists from all locations wherever you may be, to submit applications of work for an exhibition at my gallery shop in Warwick. This will take place in early Spring on the theme of 'Animals'.

The theme is broad and purposefully so. I want the artwork to appeal to a wide audience and attract people of all ages and with all interests to the exhibition.

Whether you are an artist who has made a sculpture of a hare or a lino print of an exotic bird,  it might just be an opportunity for you to exhibit your work along with other artists from all over the world!

Or you may create a piece of work, especially for it.

You may well be very local indeed to Warwick! The cost to apply is free, but if chosen for the exhibition, there will be a £45 fee to participate.

We charge a 30% commission on any sales.

I would like to appeal to artists working across a broad range of media, from drawing, printmaking and painting to sculpture in ceramics, wood or textiles.

Tourists visiting Warwick may like to buy the artwork to take it home with them, and it will be easier for them if the size means they can take it away easily.

This means you may need to make two of the artworks if possible or arrange with the buyer when it might be delivered, depending on location.

You will need to provide business cards and contact details, with some information about your work, as part of your submission.

The exhibition will take place in my gallery shop, which is in the centre of Warwick. I am a felt artist and will be doing felt-making workshops with an animal theme alongside the exhibition.

The space is also available to hire to do a workshop; again, you are welcome to mention this alongside your submission.

The venue is on a busy street with lots of restaurants. It is opposite an art shop and a vintage toy shop.

It has independent shops in the street and the exhibition will be a good way to attract people to the street who are interested in events going on in the local area.

Warwick is well known, of course, for its famous castle and medieval buildings.

Visitors to the town come for the weekend to visit the castle and the lovely shops in Warwick town centre.

I will hold a private view on the Friday evening and  throughout the opening weekend with complimentary drinks.

Workshops will be held on that weekend and throughout the duration of the exhibition.

I look forward to receiving your submissions!
