After a successful spring exhibition, ARTbound are excited to exhibit at Legacy Arts Gallery for the summer and invite all artists to join us for this summery themed show!

After a successful Spring Show at Legacy Arts Gallery in Todmorden this year, ARTbound are hiring the exhibition space for a second time and intend on filling the space with superb, summery art!

We invite artists, old and new, to exhibit with us for the summer, at this wonderfully unique and community inspired gallery.

ARTbound & Legacy will be holding an event midway through the exhibition dates, to coincide with the local annual Arts Festival. These dates will be confirmed shortly.

Acceptance fee per exhibitor: £25

Please note - the acceptance fee may increase if your chosen artwork is over 50cm or 20inch in length. (Please enquire about large submissions prior to submitting)

Sales: Work will be for sale (unless stated otherwise) and this venue takes 25% commission from sales

Exhibition dates: Friday 1 June - Sunday 29th July 2018

Deadline: Midnight, Thursday 17th May 2018

We provide established artists with events to present their work to wider audiences, whilst also giving up-and-coming artists the opportunity to enter the art world.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?

All artists working within 2D media. 3D and sculptural works may be considered, please enquire before submitting.

How many works can I submit?

As many as you'd like - Please take into consideration the size restrictions.

Please note: the acceptance fee may increase if your chosen artwork is over 50cm or 20inch in length. (Please enquire if your work is large before submitting)

When is the delivery date?

Works will need to be delivered by Thursday 31st May

When do I need to collect my work?

Works will need to be collected on Sunday 29th July

How much does it cost?

£25 per exhibitor for a 2 month exhibition.

Is there a private view / opening?

We will be hosting an event midway through the exhibition to coincide with the local annual Arts Festival. Details will be announced nearer the time,

What are the exhibition opening hours?

Closed: Monday & Tuesday
Open: 12pm – 4pm - Wednesday
10.30am - 4pm - Thursday – Sunday

What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?

Social media promotion from ARTbound and Legacy Arts on a regular basis, local newspapers, flyer production.

Do I need to be present?

No, only to drop off and pick up or to attend the exhibition preview.

How do you decide on proposals?

We decide on proposed submissions in accordance: to the size of the venue; the saleability of the submissions in accordance of the venue location and how each piece of artwork responds to the next. This process is conducted throughout the call out and finalised shortly after the deadline.

What happens if my proposal is chosen?

We will contact you shortly after the deadline to let you know whether or not you have been chosen.

What kind of proposals are you looking for?

Submissions which work towards the theme of Summer.

What is the sales commission?

Legacy Arts Gallery takes 25% sales commission from any sales.
This goes to towards the general running and development of the gallery

Insurance and postage

Exhibitors are responsible to ensure their own artworks are insured for the appropriate event and insured during transit. Exhibitors are responsible for their own postage and courier options during delivery and collection.
