This is a call-out to artists who identify as emerging and who wish to participate in a curated group exhibition as part of Leyden Gallery’s quarterly lease programme Platform for Emerging Arts. Proposed Exhibition dates 22nd Aug – 1st Sept 2018

This is a unique opportunity to exhibit new work as part of a group show at an innovative and reputable London art gallery. This platform show forms part of the gallery ethos, which aims to promote emerging contemporary artists in relation to established and recognised names in the art world.

This opportunity arises only once every quarter year when the gallery enables emergent and unrepresented artists (both national and International) to submit work to them for consideration in order to appear as part of their gallery lease programme, which is offered at exceptional value.

Following the successful realisation of their previous Platform Exhibitions, they are once again inviting innovative and talented artists to apply for the chance to exhibit their work. This is an open call for work in all mediums.

The Platform Exhibition programme for unrepresented artists also offers the gallery a first-hand opportunity to work with artists who may later be considered for future representation in non-leased curated shows. The gallery does continue to work with many of the artists who have previously exhibited as part of the Platform shows.

How to apply:

Artists should apply with up to 3 works which represent their practice.
Selected artists will then be invited for interview which can be held in person or via Skype.

Costs:

The cost for selected artists is £550 each which covers the cost of installation (if required), invigilation, print costs, marketing and private view.
