Open Call for artists and writers to submit their work to a feminist online zine based on Instagram and TikTok.

AURA is a socially engaged, feminist, online gallery space for women-identifying artists, writers and art historians to showcase their work. The gallery is currently exisiting on Instagram, but I am looking to expand into the realm of TikTok.

This is an open call for women-identifying artists to share their work in the online gallery space.

I am looking for:

- Short art essays (art focused)

- Performance pieces

- Social Commentary

- Video Artwork

- Feminist/Socially engaged artworks - this can include paintings, drawings other media

- Art writing/Poetry

- exhibition reviews (this can be written or in the form of a tiktok style video)

I want to re-launch my gallery in the form of TikTok videos/Reels, with some grid posts, so video, performance and essay work needs to fit into this kind of format.

The overall goal is to question the nature of the art-zine and reshape it in the digital age to spread socially engaged, feminist work into the public domain.
