Access Information

Bankley Gallery is situated on the first floor of an old mill building, which unfortunately is currently only accessible by stairs. The building is located just off the main road, with regular bus services from Manchester and Stockport, and is around 450m from Levenshulme train station. The station has no lift and both platforms are only accessible by stairs.
Do I need to be present?
No, we will install the show, however it would be lovely if you were able to attend the show!
How do you decide on proposals?
Our judging panel will make selections. They will collectively decide the kind of show they want to bring together, so don't be disheartened if you're not selected, it's not a reflection of quality, it might simply mean that the judges had to make decisions on how to balance all of the artists together.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
We will notify you as soon as possible, and make arrangements to get your work to us for the install.
