Taking place between 9 - 14 October 2018 to coincide with World Mental Health Day on 10 October, (In)visible will feature a group of artists who use their work to convey life’s difficulties. Curated by Amy Oliver and Jenni Bea, who were brought together by Instagram and share similar work themes, aesthetics and motivations.

The exhibition will feature work specifically produced as self-expression, communication and therapeutic release. With themes often thought of as taboo such as mental illness, addiction, abuse, and domestic violence, this exhibition promotes honesty and non-censorship. We aim to create a visually stimulating, thought-provoking, inclusive and engaging event that ignites discussion, tackles stigmas and unites artist and audience.

The exhibition will take place at Espacio Gallery in Shoreditch, London. An artist-run gallery, established in 2012, the gallery is ideally situated for public visitors,  just 100m from Brick Lane.

We welcome submissions from all art disciplines, including video installation and interactive work. Submissions are free.

UK wide and international artists are welcome to apply, but will be responsible for insurance and shipping costs. All artists are advised to have their own insurance for valuable pieces of work.
