Bored Lens - Online blog and media exploring Avant Garde photography today.
Deadline: 31/03/2021Venue: Online | City: International | Country: United Kingdom | Arron Hansford
What does Avant Garde photography look like today? In a world oversaturated with imagery, and with the ease and accessibility of photography today, what does the experimental or Avant Garde frontline of this art form look like now? How are we pushing the medium forward and breaking new ground? what is photography's future?
"Bored Lens" is an online magazine and blog that explores the Avant Garde and experimental potential of photography today, it is attempting to move away from all pre concieved ideas of what photography is and rather asks "what can it be?"
Concerned for the future of photography as a viable and ever growing artistic media, we are looking for work within photographic practice, that explores new applications for the medium, explores new ways in which photography can be used, and finally asks "what comes next?"
We are looking for portfolios that show new and exciting photography, work that is breaking and exploring new ground, and questions and pushes photography to its limits!
