The Contemporary Glass Society are inviting all glass artists worldwide to participate in our Online Exhibition "All Things Great and Small" it is free to enter!

The Contemporary Glass Society has 1400 members and is growing!

We run a successful series of online exhibitions for our members to exhibit in, but this time we are inviting all Glass Artists to apply - no need for membership!

We invite submissions for All Things Great and Small, an online glass exhibition exploring scale and detail in everyday life.

We welcome a wide range of glassmaking techniques.

From traditional blowing, casting, and fusing to experimental approaches.

We are particularly interested in works that highlight the extraordinary in the familiar, whether through monumental forms or intricate, close-up details.

We really look forward to your entries.

This is an open exhibition, so as long as your work fits the brief, it will be exhibited in our international, online exhibition!

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
All glass artists anywhere in the world!
When is the deadline?
1st May 2026.
How many works can I submit?
1 artwork - there's space for 4 images of the piece, we will select one of these for the show.
When is the delivery date?
No need to deliver it is an online exhibition of digital images.
When do I need to collect my work?
No need to collect as it is an online exhibition using digital images of your work.
How much does it cost?
It is completely free to take part
Are there payments to artists?
No, sadly not.
Is there a private view / opening?
We plan to have a Meet the Maker event online where as many of you are able to briefly talk about your work. We will send details of this event once the application for artwork is closed.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
All day everyday on our website - it will also still be available to view in our archived shows after the event.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
We will be promoting the exhibition via social media, our newsletter to members, and share to our links within the glass and art world.
Do I need to be present?
No, but we'd love you to join us online during our Meet the Maker event, which we will host on date TBC.
How do you decide on proposals?
This is an unselected show, so as long as the work fits the brief it will be accepted.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
We will add one of the 4 images you submit onto our website in our online exhibition page, and we will also add your details alongside it and the brief description you have shared so people know how to get in touch.
What kind of proposals are you looking for?
The theme is All Things Great and Small, so we are looking for a wide variety of work, from the largest of glass works to the tiny pieces too. Also we are inviting people to explore this theme through nature, and how you work with scale. We look forward to seeing how you interpret the brief!
What are the selection criteria?
This is an unselected show, as long as the work fits the brief your work will be exhibited in an international online exhibition.
