We are looking for expressions of interest from actors (professional and amateur), to work with us in the summer of 2020 on a short artist film that explores Climate Change and Migration.
We are looking for expressions of interest from actors (professional and amateur), to work with us in the summer of 2020 (Dates TBC) on a short artist film that explores Climate Change and Migration.
The artists film is fully funded and actors and crew will be paid at least £70 per day of shooting.
NEGOTIATORS
We are looking for actors to play UNFCCC climate negotiators.
We want to hear from people from or with links to countries and regions that are vulnerable to climate change in the Global South including but not limited to: Bangladesh, The Maldives, Tuvalu, Palestine, Vanuatu, The Caribbean (SIDs), West and central African nations (LDCs), South America.
We also want to hear from actors from China and India and from but not limited to: Russia, Australia, The USA, The EU, Norway, Switzerland and Japan.
We are particularly keen to hear from people who are actively engaged in climate and / or migration: activism, policy making and research.
A MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY
We are looking for actors to play a middle class family that have been displaced by a climatic disaster. We are keen to hear from families of actors, parent and child actor partnerships and individual actors and those who are engaged in climate activism.
THE FILM
The negotiations will be shot in Central London or Bristol. We will be shooting in various locations in the south of England with the displaced family.
Casting will take place in the form of workshops (Dates TBC) that will be used in part to develop the dialogue for the negotiations.
RESEARCH
We are collaborating with specialists from organisations that focus on Climate change and migration in Geneva and the UK.
