Coronapocolypse! - Call for UK-based artists. Call for work produced in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Can you get any more FUBAR than a worldwide pandemic?! The FUBAR Collective creates and exhibits alternative conceptual art. Our existing plans for exhibitions this year have had to be cancelled so we’ve had to rethink.

At this stage we are unable to confirm a venue, but we hope it will be somewhere in London. We definitely can’t confirm a date but we will curate this exhibition when it is safe to do so.

In the meantime, entries we particularly enjoy will be shared on our social media pages. @fubarcollective on Twitter & Instagram. FUBAR Collective on Facebook.

There is no real restriction at this time (we will update when we have more information about venue.) but please be aware of the following:

  • We ask that you remain respectful to the fact that many people have lost loved ones.
  • We will not consider exhibiting - or be sharing - anything we deem to be inappropriate or insensitive.
  • We will absolutely not accept any entry with racist content (or any other form of discrimination)
  • Our decision as curators is final.

There is no fee for entries, but as we are a not-for-profit collective, we may need to ask for a participation fee to cover exhibition costs (unless we are successful in applying for funding.) More details will be confirmed as soon as possible.

For any enquiries regarding this opportunity, please get in touch.

The current deadline is 1 June 2020.

Stay safe, & happy arting!
