Uncovered Collective is an arts organisation whose objective is to showcase artists and offer a snapshot of current art practice, especially that which falls outside the commercial gallery and museum system. We achieve this by holding group exhibitions that transform unusual spaces into rich artistic environments. We are pleased to announce the details for our next show 'CURTAIN TWITCHERS'.

We have managed to secure a location in partnership with the 'GARAGE GALLERY', a small and intimate venue located in residential Walthamstow. The 'Garage' is a non-commercial gallery that operates viewings by invitation only.  The show will therefore be a secret exhibition and in keeping with that premise we are looking to curate a show that explores themes of 'suburbia', 'domesticity', 'behind closed doors' and 'keeping up with the Jones's'.

The space operates a wire hanging system and we are not allowed to drill into the walls, so it is worth bearing this in mind when submitting. We are however, looking for a variety of work in a range of mediums and all work will be considered. For our last exhibition we held a series of artist talks, depending on demand we may do the same this time round.

The exhibition will run in three sessions -

Private View, Friday 24th February -18.00 to 21.00

Session one, Saturday 25th February - 11.00 to 16.00

Session two or talks, Sunday 26th February - 11.00 to 16.00

The artwork will have to be dropped off in E17 on Friday 24th February between 10.00 and 13.00 and collected Sunday 26th between 16.00 and 18.00

The open call is free to submit but each selected artist will be asked to contribute £20 towards the running cost of the exhibition.

All details of our previous exhibitions can be found on our website: www.uncoveredcollective.org
