The next exhibition in the BobCat Gallery virtual space will be an open call celebrating the best of the new season - fresh, inspiring original works and handmade limited editions that bring to life the spirit of the equinox; the perfect balance of night and day. The exhibition will feature regular BobCat Gallery artists as well as other international artists working in a diverse range of media and styles.

This exhibition is an open call for original artworks and handmade limited editions.

Artists can apply with a selection of up to four pieces for the chance to take part.

It is free to apply, and there is no size limit for artworks.

The show will run for the whole of September 2026 via the BobCat Gallery website, with a virtual curator’s tour on Monday 7th September from 6.30 pm - free tickets will be released via www.ticketsource.co.uk/bobcat-gallery

As well as featuring across the BobCat Gallery website (c. 40,000 visitors annually) and social media profiles (Instagram over 3,700 followers, LinkedIn, Facebook and Bluesky), the exhibition will be promoted across digital arts platforms and to my mailing list, plus in-store customers at my gallery in Putney and my base of international collectors (including returning customers in America, Germany and Australia among many others).

Artists working in 2D or 3D media - including but not limited to painting, drawing, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, etching, lino cuts, textiles and limited edition photography - are welcome to submit.

Reproduction prints (e.g. giclée), digital artwork and NFTs will not be accepted.

Please note that your work does not need to be posted unless it is sold; the buyer’s details will be provided to you so you can dispatch work directly to them.

You will need to provide a flat rate shipping cost up front so that you can be reimbursed for this.

Terms & Conditions

1. There is a non-refundable participation fee of £5.00 per artist payable on selection. This will be due in advance, payable to BobCat Gallery. Once payment has been processed, artists agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. There will be a commission of 20% of the retail price on all sales. Payment to the Artist shall be made by the Gallery within 14 working days of confirmation of successful delivery to the buyer, as long as no issues are reported by the customer within that time.

3. Works included in the exhibition will be exclusive to BobCat Gallery for the duration of the virtual show (1st - 30th September 2026). Please ensure that any additional online listings are removed during this time. In the event that a work is accidentally sold elsewhere while on display in the virtual gallery, the artist is liable for commission to BobCat Gallery.

4. The Artist is responsible for arranging transportation for their artwork(s) to the buyer directly if sold. Packing and shipping charges, insurance costs, and risk of loss or damage incurred in the delivery of artworks from the Artist to the purchaser are the responsibility of the Artist. Artists will need to calculate a standard worldwide postage cost and provide these details upfront for potential buyers so they can be reimbursed for this.
