Exi, is an existential art exhibition and is back for its 2nd run taking place in London's Crypt Gallery St Pancras in February 2026, based on the themes, philosophies and writings on existentialism and the meaning of human existence, allowing the viewer and artist alike to consider the meaning of their own existence.

We invite artists to submit works based on the above theme, including Painting, Photography, Film, Video Art, Installations and sculpture.

Larger works are also welcome. We can accept works up to 85 inches in width and 60 inches in height.

This Exhibition will consist of an array of artworks by selected artists responding to the above theme.

The Crypt Gallery in London Euston will be the perfect venue to host the next instalment of Exi, and this will be a great opportunity to bring artists across differing scenes and working methods together in one show.

Our focus is to bring together artists who live on the edge of the many scenes that straddle the fringe art landscape and find a home for the disenfranchised and optimistic alike.

No matter what, who or where you’ve been, you're welcome here.

This show is curated by London-based artist Evelyn J Marshall, with the support of a small team based in London, who will hang and care for your work; it is worth noting that the Crypt Gallery can get a little damp, so please keep this in mind with any works on paper.

As an artist myself, I appreciate the need to ensure there are tangible benefits for any selected artist in return for paying a fair (for central London) participation fee to cover hire and running costs, etc.

The show will be promoted on Social media (exi_show Instagram account currently at 600+ followers and growing), along with advertising in the listings sections of the Londonist and Art Rabbit, and print advertising in the industry publication The Art Newspaper and print advertising in the winter issue of The Toe Rag.

The previous show, which was also at the Crypt Gallery, St Pancras, had a positive footfall of circa 40-60 per day, peaking on the weekend days, and a sold-out PV (free tickets), which was attended by 220 people.
