London Drawing Group is seeking talented facilitators for guest slots on our feminist webinar program this New Year. We are looking for a variety of classes that will air online to our audience which regularly reaches up to 300 people via webinars each Monday evening. We are looking for Lectures, Talks and are also open to Panel Discussions on any topic, related in some way to Feminism. We are totally open to ideas just so long as the content is Womxn focused and inclusive. We particularly welcome applications from The LGBTQI, and Trans communities, and those from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. THIS IS A PAID OPPORTUNITY

Thank you for your interest in teaching on the London Drawing Group's Autumn 2022 lecture series.  We are a collective of three contemporary artists/tutors. We teach a variety of creative classes, courses and lectures on many different aspects of art making and art history.

Through Covid-19, we moved online and invited guests to speak which resulted in our most successful feminist lecture program series yet (follow the link to see the full list of classes). The program covered broad aspects of Women's Art History, Anthropology, Witchcraft, a Feminist History of Medicine, Black Women Artists of the USA, Censorship Curatorial Activism and Cancel Culture, Violence Against Women in Art and Ecofeminism, to give an sense of our usual content. London Drawing Group is once again seeking talented facilitators for guest slots on our feminist webinar program in the Autumn We are looking for a variety of classes that will air online to our audience which regularly reaches up to 300 people via zoom. We are totally open to ideas just so long as the content is inclusive and womxn focused.

We prefer that you have some prior teaching/public speaking experience and you will be required to be familiar with Zoom and presenting content in a dynamic, accessible and experienced manner. We are particularly interested and excited to hear about submissions relating to the histories of women of colour and LGBTQ+ content. Should you need support, the LDG tutors can help you prepare and practice the content and we will do everything we can to make you feel comfortable delivering your lecture! 

Our fee is £250/lecture, which you will invoice us for after the session has been completed, and will be paid by bank transfer.

Terms and conditions

This section outlines the agreement which clarifies what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Please read carefully and only send us your application if you are happy to proceed with the T&Cs.

LDG's obligation: Run the class through their EventBrite and Zoom profiles. Take care of all admin but may ask for extra information from you. Create graphic content to market the event. Ticket sales. Email attendees. Send zoom links. Manage the emails during the session. Manage the chat / Q&A during the session. Record access (recordings will be available to students for three days. We can also record the session and send it to you for your records).

Your commitments: Offer a 1-1.5 hour event (lecture/panel discussion/talk) at 6:30pm on the allotted Monday. Commit to at least six social media posts about the event across your platforms, whatever they might be. No cancellations within three days of the event. You commit to a dry-run of the event (just a basic run through of how the platform will work to set you at ease) during the week before the event.

Extra Information: You will need to provide your visual slides in a PDF format at least one week before the session. An email will be sent to you with the invitation to sign in as a panelist before the event. Before the session you will need to sign in 5 minutes before the class.

Fees: £250/per lecture to be invoiced upon delivery of lecture. We will pay via bank transfer.
