Exploring Creativity Powered by Open-Source AI Paris, France | 5–6 May 2026
Applications are now open for GOSIM Spotlight 2026: Frontier Creators, an international showcase dedicated to creative and experimental projects built with open-source artificial intelligence.
As a featured programme of GOSIM Paris 2026 (Global Open Source & Innovation Meetup), the Spotlight brings together developers, artists, researchers, designers, and innovators who are exploring new forms of creativity emerging from the open-source AI ecosystem.
The event will take place 5–6 May 2026 in Paris, France, and will present selected projects to an international audience of creators, technologists, researchers, investors, and open-source communities.
We invite creators working at the intersection of open-source AI, technology, art, and society to submit their work.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We welcome submissions across a wide range of formats, including:
- products or tools
- prototypes and experimental systems
- artistic or creative works
- research projects or proposals
- open-source software
- interdisciplinary or experimental projects
Projects should engage with open-source AI technologies or contribute to the development of the open AI ecosystem.
Examples include:
- Creative applications built on open-source AI models
- Art, design, film, music, or writing projects created using open-source AI tools
- Open-source AI tools for education, collaboration, or social innovation
- Human–AI co-creation practices developed in open communities
- Experimental projects exploring open models, open datasets, or open toolchains
WHAT SELECTED PROJECTS RECEIVE
Selected projects will be featured as part of GOSIM Spotlight 2026: Frontier Creators.
Opportunities include:
- Exhibition and presentation during the event in Paris
- Exposure to an international audience of creators, researchers, and technologists
- Visibility through GOSIM’s global communication channels
- Feedback from a multidisciplinary review panel
- Connections with potential collaborators and industry partners
- Possibility of travel support for selected creators
Please note that not all selected projects will receive travel support, and some projects may be presented remotely or through curated displays.

- Project title and description
- Information about the creator(s)
- Links to project materials or documentation
- Visual materials, videos, or other supporting media
- Details about the open-source AI technologies used
ABOUT GOSIM
GOSIM (Global Open Source & Innovation Meetup) is an international platform dedicated to open-source technology, collaborative innovation, and global creative exchange.
The event brings together developers, researchers, artists, entrepreneurs, and open-source communities to explore emerging technologies and their societal impact.
* Pictures / Visual Works: JPG or PNG format; resolution of at least 1920px on the long side.
* Video Works: MP4 format (H.264 recommended); 1920×1080 (Full HD) or 4K resolution; 16:9 aspect ratio; preview time of 2-5 minutes. * Device / Interaction / Software: Visual documents (pictures or videos), a brief project description, and basic information about the work.

*Creative projects based on research
*Mixed and interdisciplinary works are also highly encouraged.

*The role of open-source AI: An explanation of how open-source AI participated in the creative process and the specific contribution of the human creators.
