GUTSTRING invites writers and digital artists to let it all out. In an era of polished facades and forced consensus, authentic expression has lost its breathing room. We are reclaiming it. This showcase is a dedicated launch event designed to break down the walls of "the expected" and unleash art straight from the gut. We aren’t looking for your portfolio pieces; we want your "strings"—the raw, the unfiltered, and the brilliantly unfinished.

This showcase is a dedicated launch event designed to break down the walls of "the expected" and unleash art straight from the gut. We aren’t looking for your portfolio pieces; we want your "strings"—the raw, the unfiltered, and the brilliantly unfinished.

The Opportunity - We are seeking submissions for our initial platform release. Selected works will be featured on a dedicated, high-traffic showcase page that serves as the centerpiece of the GUTSTRING launch.

We are looking for:

  • Writers: Micro-essays, "gut" reactions, poetry, or prose that challenges the status quo.
  • Digital Artists: Raw sketches, experimental renders, or visual "brain dumps" that prioritize feeling over finish.
  • The In-Between: Hybrid works, AI-collaborations, and "strings" of thought that don't fit a standard category.

What You Get

  • Featured Placement: Your work will be part of the "Founding Strings" gallery, the first content ever seen on the platform.
  • Direct Attribution: Each string is tied to your creative profile, with direct links to your external portfolios or socials.
  • Community Access: Early-access "Stringer" status on the platform, bypassing waitlists for the full ecosystem rollout.
  • Post-Algorithm Visibility: Your work will be showcased using our semantic browsing AI, ensuring it reaches people who resonate with the theme of your work, not just those who follow a specific tag.

Rights and Credits

  • Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of your work.
  • Licensing: By submitting, you grant Asycd a non-exclusive license to display your work on the GUTSTRING platform and in promotional materials related to the showcase release.
  • Credit: You will always be credited as the sole creator. We believe in the "Human-First" creative loop; your name stays with your string.

About Us

Asycd is an AI-focused creative research lab dedicated to the intersection of human intuition and generative technology. We don’t build tools to replace artists; we build environments where artists can breathe.

GUTSTRING is our answer to the "rage-bait" and "slop" of mainstream feeds—a digital home for the thoughts you were told to keep to yourself.

Featured in multiple exhibitions, design/tech publications, academic research archives - Website reaching ~20,000 search impressions per month - Blog attracting 2,000+ monthly viewers - Growing global audience and inbound collaboration.

How to Submit

Text:
Up to 200 words. We are looking for brevity and impact—micro-essays, prose, "internal monologues," or poetic fragments. Submit as a .PDF, .DOCX, or simply paste the text directly into the submission form.

Visuals: High-resolution PNG or JPG files. While we welcome "unfinished" work, the file quality should be high enough for digital display (minimum 1920px on the longest side).

Multimedia: We accept combined entries (e.g., an image paired with a 200-word "string" of text).

Submissions Close: May 8th, 2026 (11:59 PM PST)

When is the deadline?
May 8th 2026.
Can I submit work that was created using AI tools?
No. Please do not use AI!
What makes a "string" different from a standard social media post?
A post is designed for an algorithm; a string is designed for an impact. We aren't looking for polished, "brand-safe," or engagement-optimized content. A string is a raw thought, an unfinished sketch, or a radical opinion that you’ve been holding back.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
Headline Placement: Featured on the high-traffic launch showcase page.

Targeted Promotion: Amplification via Asycd’s newsletter and social channels to a network of curators and directors.

Priority Access: Immediate entry to the full platform, bypassing all waitlists.

Legacy Status: A permanent "Founding Contributor" badge on your profile.

Semantic Discovery: Ongoing visibility via AI-driven thematic browsing to reach the right audience long-term.

Full Attribution: Clear credit with direct links to your external portfolios.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
If your proposal is chosen, you will be notified via email by May 15th with specific onboarding instructions for the launch. Your work will then be featured as a centrepiece on our inaugural showcase page, which goes live in late May 2026.

As a selected creator, you will receive immediate, unrestricted access to the GUTSTRING platform, bypassing all existing waitlists. We will actively promote your contribution to our network of curators and researchers through dedicated newsletter features and social media spotlights.

Finally, your account will be permanently recognised with a Founding Contributor badge, ensuring your work remains discoverable through our AI-driven thematic browsing tools.
