High and Dry exhibition

EMERGING ARTIST CALL FOR UPCOMING EXHIBITION: High and Dry. Exhibition destroying the typical domestic home and washing it ashore.
High and dry is an upcoming exhibition taking place on Brighton beach on December 8th. We are looking for emerging artists to take part in showing their work in our exhibition. The context of the show is to look at the destruction of the ideal home, whether it be focusing on the current refugee crisis, homelessness or domestic violence in an everyday home. The aesthetic of the exhibition is to have the typical family home washed up and destroyed on the shore.
The exhibition is going to be set up in the form of a kitchen set on the beach working with the tide times of the ocean. Making sure it is set up at low tide and the exhibition will run until the work is devoured by the high tide. The artist work could be damaged by water or weather, so it is up to the artist whether they want to use copies of original works or if they want to allow their original works to be destroyed and follow the theme.
Please send your proposals with drawn plans or photographs of work by 9th November 2018.
Dimensions of work are negotiable and can be discussed when selected. All materials and disciplines welcomed.
