CALL FOR WEST YORKSHIRE ARTISTS - Huddersfield Open Summer Art Exhibition 2018

Huddersfield's first Summer Art Exhibition will be taking place from Monday 30th July 2018 running through to Saturday 11th August 2018, 10am – 5pm. The Packhorse Centre will be alive with art as West Yorkshire artists are invited to submit proposals to exhibit with a priority for Huddersfield based artists.

We offer a £100 prize for artists's work selected by The Making Space members and also offer a public prize voted for by members of the public visiting the exhibition.

  • Private view on evening of Monday 30th July at 6.30pm
  • Submissions will be open until 30th June 2018
  • Accepted artists are asked to pay a small £5.00 submission cost per artwork
  • Only 10% commission on sales
  • Workshops will run throughout the exhibition.

Exhibition is open to all West Yorkshire based artists.

Submissions are limited to three per artist but please contact us if you would like to submit more.
When is the delivery date?
Work required by July 25th at the latest
When do I need to collect my work?
Unsold work to be collected by August 17th at the latest,
How much does it cost?
Accepted artists are asked to pay £5.00 per submission

Artist opportunity to sell work and chance to win prize worth £100.00

What are the exhibition opening hours?
Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm - during Shopping Centre hours

How do you decide on proposals?
Artwork is decided by a panel of artists on artistic merit, originality and subject matter
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
We will contact you to arrange for you to bring your work in July.
Do I need insurance?
Artists work will be displayed at artist's own risk, insurance recommended.
