Collect Art is thrilled to invite artists to a new international open call, in which applicants are invited to explore the theme of IDENTITY and its many possible meanings.
In a world ruled by the law of appearance, of social media, of globalisation, what is the value of our personal fingerprint, taste, history, thoughts? What better than art can portray the singularity of one soul, or the risk of it being broken apart by the dominance of standardisation?
Open to artists worldwide, aged 18 and above, working in various media, including painting, drawing, collage, installation, illustration, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, assemblage, fibre art, paper art, printmaking, 3D digital art, glass art, metalwork, and more.
The theme of the online exhibition & edition is Identity.
We encourage artists from all backgrounds and visual disciplines to depict either their most personal, authentic artistic representation of their “self”, or their own interpretations of “identity”, whatever aspect of it resonates the most with their uniqueness.
What is it that defines your condition today, as an artist, as a human, as a part of your community or as an individual detached from it?
Selected artists will have the privilege of being showcased in a month-long online exhibition and will receive a 2-6 page spread in both print and digital magazines.
This feature will include a biography, an artist statement, an interview, a website link, and 2-10 featured artworks.
All published artists will receive a complimentary digital issue of the magazine, which will be actively promoted on our website and social media platforms. Additionally, artists will receive a link to order the printed version of the magazine.
Moreover, the curatorial team will select a few exceptional artists for inclusion in their upcoming book edition titled '101 Contemporary Artists and More...'
Requirements for the submission:
Up to 12 photos, details of the work (title, medium, size, year, description is optional), brief biography, artist statement (min 100 words each), website, and social media links.
Deadline: September 26, 2026
Application Fee: No Fee
The participation fee is 55 EUR (in case of acceptance)

Further Opportunities:
Our curatorial team will carefully select several exceptional artists to be featured in the upcoming book edition, “101 Contemporary Artists and More…”.
The selection process is guided by the book’s overall concept, artistic direction, and available space.
Nevertheless, we strive to include as many artists as possible who have previously appeared in our magazine editions.
Our curatorial team will also choose a selection of exceptional artists to be featured in the annual book edition, “365 Artists to Watch…”.
Artists are selected according to the publication’s overall vision, artistic direction, and available space.
We always aim to showcase as many artists as possible from our previous magazine editions.
Additionally, with each edition, our curators highlight a select group of artists for future exhibitions at our new 170 sq. m professionally curated art gallery in the prestigious centre of Tbilisi, Georgia.
The gallery is dedicated to modern and contemporary art, providing a powerful platform for international exposure, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, installation, New media, mixed media works, etc.
