South Square Gallery is pleased to offer an annual bursary to support an emerging artist to exhibit new and recent work in the gallery. Emerging artists who work primarily in paint are invited to apply for an exhibition.
As a tribute to the memory of Joan Day, a highly skilled painter who lived and worked in the West Yorkshire region for much of her life, South Square Gallery is pleased to offer an annual bursary to support an emerging artist to exhibit new and recent work in the gallery. Emerging artists who work primarily in paint are invited to apply for an exhibition in September 2017 with an opening event on Friday 1st September 7-9pm. A bursary of £500 will be awarded to assist with the costs of preparing and installing the work.
Full time students are not eligible, however we welcome applications from final year students due to graduate. Priority will be given to artists based in Yorkshire.
